Hello everyone! Thanks again for all the advice. Sorry I haven't been around,

but I was away. My husband is starting to adjust a bit better. Right now I

think his problems are more stress related than anything. Unfortunately, that

seems to be a constant for us.

Anyway, I'm starting to get into the groove of things. I ordered two SCD

cookbooks to help me, but I have some questions I'm hoping you fine folks can

answer:

I'm confused as to whether or not canned crushed tomatoes are legal or not.

I've always used them to make sauce(rather than the stuff in the jars) and I

thought they were okay because they aren't " packed " in anything like green beans

or peas would be. I don't use the kind with anything added, but I've been

reading mixed reviews about it and I'm confused. I can certainly try making it

with tomato juice if I have to.

I also found a website called justalmonds.com and I'm wondering if anyone has

tried their flour. It looks legal, but after reading the book I feel like you

just can't trust some companies to tell you what's really in your food! They

have fantastic prices so I'd love to order from them if I can.

My last question is about sausage. Is there any legal sausage in the universe

or should I just stop looking?? It's madness how much hidden sugar there is in

food!!! Some people may think it's a hardship to have to implement such

dramatic diet changes, but the longer I do this, the more I think this was a

blessing for my family. I think we will all be better off!

Sorry this was so long, and thank you all again. It has been such a huge help

to have this group!

Oh, and I have realized that in signing up so quickly as I did, I neglected to
