Unfortunately, yes there are lots of hidden additives. And it could

have been the amount of fruit chews combined with her being made

sensitive to the detergent. I am on the Feingold program and that is

their whole angle. They research products and mark which chemicals

are in which products. They you choose or find which chemicals a

person might be sensitive. But they research them very well and there

are several common things I would not have found on the label. Those

fruit chews are really bad at containing additives but if you hadn't

seen that before there was no way to know. So now you can keep an eye

out for it, but it may have been a combination of the two.

There is a general Feingold yahoo group at

If you want to write me off-board, please feel free to.

Janelle,

LJ is additive free mostly. He is totally no artificial colors, no

artificial flavors and no preservatives. Once I started this GFCF diet,

I realized how much CRAP we actually eat, and now I only feed LJ natural

foods. Even as far as dish liquids and stuff, before I couldn't

pronounce the ingredients. I feel good that I am feeding him healthy,

and he eats so much and still has a wide variety of foods.

I like Applegate Farms for their products (sliced turkey meat, hotdogs,

etc.)

(LJs mom) in New York
