Guest guest
Can your son have soy? See my earlier post titled " Natural Vitamin E and Soy " for the whole story. In a nutshell, it seems that all natural vitamin E is made from soy and thus will contain minute amounts of it. So if your child is like mine and many other GFCF kids and reacts to soy just like gluten and casein, you will have to avoid all sources of natural vitamin E. Panda Puffs and Crunch-Ems cereals use natural vitamin E as a preservative. Synthetic vitamin E (which Kirkman uses) is ok. Mae Lynn

Guest guest
Soy triggers my son's facial tics so this could be why he blinked with peanut butter panda puffs...vitamin E. I stopped using it pretty quickly but never understood why it bothered him. Now I wonder how many other foods might be affecting him because of the E. Weird. Have to look into this more. Do you have any websites that talk about the E and soy connection you can share Mae Lynn? Dawn

Guest guest
Do you have any websites that talk about the > E and soy connection you can share Mae Lynn? > Dawn No, this is just sort of me putting the pieces together the best I can. It all began when I noticed that Miss Roben's didn't list Henry's favorite cereal, Corn Crunch-Ems, as soy free anymore. Then I just contacted Nature's Path (makers of Panda Puffs) and Kirkmans. By the way, everyone that is concerned about the soy that is being added to a GFCF food should e-mail Nature's Path about it. Maybe if enough of their reliable customers can't eat the stuff anymore they will go back to the old formula! Mae Lynn

I am so devastated by this soy thing, since he doesn't eat much else and is very sensitive to soy. Guess this explains the behavior problems lately! Thanks for the info!
