I have only tried it in a Bette Hagman cookie recipe that used tahini, eggs, and sugar, but I noticed that she had a similar recipe using peanut butter, so I think substitution would work. The only problem is, sesame is an acquired taste; my kids like it, their friends don't. Will your child eat halvah? if so, sweet sesame cookies should work.
