Any

suggests using sesame butter (tahini) in such a situation. I

have only tried it in a Bette Hagman cookie recipe that used tahini, eggs,

and sugar, but I noticed that she had a similar recipe using peanut butter,

so I think substitution would work. The only problem is, sesame is an

acquired taste; my kids like it, their friends don't. Will your child eat

halvah? if so, sweet sesame cookies should work.
