I DID IT! For the first time in over 20 years, I broke 200 (199, to be

exact)!!!!! It's funny;for the firrst few years of MO, I was in such denial

about my weight that when I had to list it, for driver's license or other

ID, I would writ 1--, instead of the over 200 I was. My brain knew it was

200, but my mouth and hand couldn't say it. NOW, I'm going to have to

totally re-train myself! But, oh boy, what exquisite agony it will be!

For those of you who fear you're eating too much:EAT MORE! At the end of the

summer, I went on a 2 month plateau (after being only 2 months post-op),

even gained 3 lb. I realize now that I wasn't eating enough. Would have a

good breakfast, a so-so dinner (my appetite is always down at night now) but

only a can of protein shake and some cheese strings for lunch, around 2:00

or 3:00. Once school started again, and I eat breakfast at 6:30 and lunch at

11:30, I come home hungry. I've started to have a protein snack at 3:00,

some turkey or leftovers from a previous dinner. I then eat a small dinner

around 8:00. Well, I'm averaging 4 to 5 lb a week now. I'VE INCREASED MY

WEIGHT LOSS WITH MORE FOOD! So please, don't cut back on your food;your body

goes into starvation mode and holds onto the weight instead of giving it up!

Good luck to you, and God (or the Mother) bless. May you all have the

happiness I'm experiencing now!

Marcia- Congratulations!!!! I am so happy for you. I can't even

imagine being under 200...but I look forward to this milestone in my

life as well. Enjoy it as much as possible.

Take care,
