Hi BB. I had part 1 of my surgery with Dr. Gagner on 7/17/01.

1. No.

2. Not before, but every day after.

4. No regrets. I hired aides for the first 2 nights. Both were well

worth the expense!

5. I live outside of Philadelphia and traveled for the surgery. I've

emailed Dr. Gagner twice and both times he responded promptly (same day).

6. He did have an assistant with him. She was also very nice and came to

see me afterwards. Mt. Sinai is a teaching hospital so I'm not sure if

you can avoid it but I'm sure you could discuss it with him.

I just visited Dr. Gagner for my three month check up and am looking

forward to part two of my surgery in January. So far, so good. I'm very

happy with him and the care I've rec'd. JMHO! Good luck to you in your

journey.
