Guest guest
Okay, Okay, I'm 10 months post op and it's a bit late to ask about supplements/vitamins, proteins, food intake, water intake, exercise, etc. I must admit I've been laying low and being far too aloof about my health and post op care. I have no clue about supplements, nor have I taken any, I looked into supplements/vitamins via my surgeon and they were far too expensive and I couldn't afford them. I'm still financing and paying for my surgery, needless to say, that money is tight. I'm also not sure which supplements are best for us DS'ers. There's so many schools of thought. I need to start taking something that's helpful and cost effective, I'd welcome any advice with people who've had success. I'm thinking proper protein, supplements/vitamins and water will help break this 3 month plateu and also help me get some energy and life back in me. I'm weak, tired and very depressed. I'm discouraged and dissapointed with my lack of dilligence in taking care of myself. I guess not being able to stuff myself with food since my surgeries has left me sabotaging myself in other ways. Sad but true. I'm ready to get real, get off my duff and get busy. I don't want to be unhealthy and tired all the time. 2 open surgeries in 6 months has taken it's toll on me but it's time to get moving and make the most of all this pain I've endured. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I welcome the help. I know you've all probably been asked these same questions 1000 times. : ) Thanks again. onlaptop@... a.k.a. the plateau queen 309 1/10/2001 26 195 10/24/2001 16/
