Hi, I've been wondering if I should hire an aide for my upcoming surgery at

Mt Sinai, but don't really want someone I don't know hanging about the room.

Can you tell me in what ways was the aide invaluable? What did he/she help

you with? Did they stay in the room with you the whole time?
