Guest guest
Hi Sue! I sincerely hope you get to have Dr Welker.....hes absolutly the best (of course, Im biased!) My pastors wife just arrived home today from Eugene where she had her surgery on the 30th of Oct......she said " Oh, that man is WUNDERFUL with the best bedside manner and the hospital (Sacred Heart) is the best and they really treat you well there......that they do alot of bariatric surgery and totally understand the obese and treat them with kindness and total respect. " She was soooooooo thrilled with her overall experience and indebted to me for leading her there......<g> Hugs, Judie
Guest guest
Hi Sue, I would have to go thru all the paperwork I have stashed away somewhere so give me some time to find it, (If I can lol) Im guessing his fee was around 4500-7000 but Im not sure. Medicare paid for it so not sure if it was all itemized or not. Yes, he is pretty agressive trying to get insurance approval and has a way about him that accomplishes just that. Thats why we call him " the wizard " as he can often do the impossible. He cares very deeply for his patients. I would suggest you send him an email outling your problems and questions and he will get back to you asap,........usually within hours and sometimes within a day or two depending on how busy he is. I think email is faster than phoning for these type of questions you have........the clinic is usually too busy compared to emailing.......
