Guest guest
Peggy I think the call is good. Interview them to see how they fit your needs which includes how you think they will fit in with your family and your life. As to the needing of drugs, I find one of the things that comforts me most is knowing that they are there when the time comes I need them. A little morphine can help considerably from everything I know. I've experienced the " No Air " but only for brief periods and primarily before diagnosis and it is something one wants help with and relief from the feeling. To me it was also very anxiety provoking as you feel like you'll never get your breath again. Of course, the anxiety only makes it worse. Doing this as a third person in some ways isn't so bad, Peggy. It allows you to first look objectively as you would if caring for another. Then you can get the feel on a personal basis as to how you feel about it. Select the hospice like you'd select a new roommate. Find one that makes you comfortable. Then whether the time to call is now or later you'll know who to turn to. I've already looked at hospices in this area and will much more well in advance of needs. > > Hi Group, Well I just made " THE " call. is gone to the store so I > called hospice. someone will be out around 1 or 2 pm tomorrow. > We'll see what they have to say.. can I tell you all I HATE THIS > DISEASE.
