Jen & Marcia,

<I can't imagine a 17 yr old at 106 lbs.>

I was 5' 6 " and weighed 98

pounds at beginning of seventh grade, at age 13. By graduation at the age

of 17.10, I had managed to get the weight up to 115-117 and was 5' 7.5 " --by

eating four meals a day!

By that time everyone thought I was a Twiggy fan! LOL I was super thin when

super thin was not IN!

With age I managed to get to the thin stage and with more age, surgeries,

etc. I have finally doubled the weight.

I really hated being sooooo thin! I just wish I could settle for something

more in the middle ground!

I have seen how the kids with CF eat and know it is hard to keep their weight

up. Good luck to all you Mom's out there trying to fatten up those skinny

little bodies! Tell them to eat just one more bite of something really

fattening for Aunt B!

Love to all of you!

Aunt B

I was 5'10 " and weighed 112 pounds in high school and I did not

have CF. I stayed thin until menopause. Imagine my horror when I

started packing on the pounds like everyone else. lol!
