Guest guest
I was diagnoised in November, 2003 with chronic pancreatitis. I have sufferred for years with pain and told it was gastritis. Then I was told my gall bladder needed to come out. After it was removed, pain started again - back to gastritis. Nurmerous EGD's - 3 ERCP's. I am told I have mild chronic pancreatitis...no reason for it. I get such wierd feelings (besides the tenderness under the breast bone, on and off nausea, pain radiating around to back) - tightness in chest, ribs hurt, feels like a brick is laying in my stomach, somes days just exhusted. Does anyone else have any of these feelings. Has anyone tried any herbs?
Guest guest
Hi, Just wanted to let your know that I have been on the same " boat " for the past 6 years too. What part of the country are you from? If you don't mind me asking. All my pain started after my gallbladder surgery too. Every year it's been medical test after medical test. My current doc is trying to solve the mystery behind my ongoing pain. I have found a couple of diagnoses so far but I am still with ongoing symptoms. Depression always finds its way to me too, between the attacks, pain, and medication, it really takes all the energy out of me. Just keep coming back here, and you will find much needed support. Hope you are feeling good today. -- In pancreatitis , " temecu315 " <temecu315@y...> wrote: > Hi, I'm new to this site, but not new to the problem. Guest guest
Welcome! Your story sounds so familiar to mine. I also started out has a gallbladder removed, retained stone removed, and everything went from bad to worse from there. I got the chronic pancreatitis diagnosis just last month, after almost 4 years of searching for answers, looking for a cure and living like there is a ticking time bomb inside of me. I have found that just checking in on this board and reading posts daily has helped my sanity a lot. You will find a lot of support here, as for me, just to know I'm not the only one, and there are others who understand the pain and what 24/7 pain can do to a person, well, it is a relief to realize that I am not completely crazy. I wish you the best, and pray that your pain will subside. I know what it is like to live in fear of the next acute attack of pancreatitis, it isn't fun. You've come to the right place, it is just so sad that anyone has to live with this pain. God bless. Suzi > Hi, I'm new to this site, but not new to the problem.
