Dear Tammy,

I'm so glad the test was clear. Do take care though because, as the

doc said, something just might be going on. However, I can imagine

how pleased you feel. I do think pain is easier to bear if you know

there's nothing too wrong.

Keep in touch and do let us know how things go.

With good wishes,

Fliss

Tammy,

I've been reading about your concerns about going back to work

because you can't get long term disability without a diagnosis.

First of all, it's great that you have such an understanding boss,

one that doesn't want you to work until you're well. He sounds

like a gem, and I'm sure you'll do everything you can to keep up a

good relationship with him. He could play an important part in

the whole scenario of your illness.

Maybe you can talk to him about returning to work on a more

abbrieviated schedule, or something that would allow you some

flexibility in case you have days where you would need to leave

work early or just not go at all because of your sickness. If you

can show him that you're trying your best, it will reflect well on his

understanding of your illness.

Meanwhile, keep seeking answers for your symptoms.

Sometimes people have had to go through months or more of

tests and doctors and misdiagnosis' before they finally got the

results they needed to get a confirmed diagnosis. I'll be really

interested to see how your fecal fat test comes out. Are you

doing the test where you have to try to eat 100 grams of fat each

day for three days? That one can be a killer!

Just keep your chin up and keep your faith, Tammy. This will

work out somehow. Sometimes it just takes longer than we

wish for the results we want. I admire your determined attitude

and I know that things will work out for you in the end.

With love, hope and prayers,

Heidi
