Guest guest
I am so sorry you have had five straight days of those monsters! I started getting migraines when I was pregnant with my first child and still get them right before my period starts - diagnosed as hormonal migraines. I have only had one with an aura. That happenened soon after I came home from the hospital last year when they removed most of my pancreas and I had become diabetic. I had never had an aura before and panicked thinking that I had diabetic retinopathy or something horrible like that. About 10 minutes later the migraine hit and I knew what was going on. Anyway, I don't take a prescription yet for mine - Excedrin seems to help me. My doctor wanted to put me on Imitrex, but I am already on seven prescriptions a month and even with insurance, that's an extra $300 a month that I am already taking away from providing for my family. As long as Excedrin works for me, I'll keep taking it. I wish I knew what to say to help. I hope it goes away quickly and that you are feeling good again soon.
