That is also what I do . & Now I am cooking for one. I just make a smaller

amount (but still good size) . I love it & take plastic containers of it to

work with me also & just heat in the microwave. I rarely get sick & that is

my secret weapon (hehe).. I know you have quite a few still at home & that

takes a larger amount then I need .... You do so much .I know your family

appreciates you as we do too-- thanks for your super tips.

I just throw salt chicken and a few herbs for poultry and let it cook.I have

so many kids that finding cans big enough is harder than making

Chicken cartilage has anti-inflammatory properties. Could it be that those

properties leach out into the broth as you cook the bird? I know when my kids

are sick they don't feel as good if I used canned chicken compared to boiling

one until the meat falls off the bone.
