Guest guest
Long story made somewhat shorter, our little girl has a lot going on with her. Her tort isn't improving like they want, and neither is her plagiocephaly so she's getting a helmet. She's been in PT since she was two weeks old and is now just over four months. I'm sure she'll be ok. She's got one of the best medical teams in the world on her side, but I'm not handling it well. At least most of this should be over while she's still too young to remember much of it. A mother on another board where I post is going through almost the same thing and pointed me here. I'm sure you've all been where I'm at now on the emotion spectrum at one point or another. Elaine is a Twin A, and she'll have her helmet by next wednesday. Since we were told we needed one I wanted her to have it and start getting fixed ASAP, but I'm still nervous about the whole thing. I've read though many posts and through some of the information in the file section and so on. This place is a great resource and I'm glad to have found you guys~
Guest guest
Welcome Joyce! Sounds like you have the food and physical side of things covered. Now you are acquiring the behaviors and attitudes that will make it easy and enjoyable to do the rest. And we are all along for the ride, cheering you on. Jantje > > Hi, I am Joyce and new to the group. I am an almost 36 mom of 4. I live in South Carolina. This is my second time at battling the bulge. At one point I weighed 236 and just got tired of it so I got fit and became a personal trainer. Then 2 years ago my husband and I decided to move to South carolina to give our children a better life. Little did I know that moving 750 miles from everything and everyone would cause such a depression. So I ate and ate some more. Now I am tipping the scales at 201. Last Monday My husband walked into tthe Y and I said enough is enough. I am tired of being tired and achy. So here I am doing this again....Joyce >
