Hi ,

I'm sorry to say I don't have any advice but I do have a question. I

just asked our nutritionist about putting my daughter on goat's milk

(10mos) and she advised against it. She said that kids with CF have a

problem with it and their kidneys. Have you ever heard of this or does

Liam have any trouble? I thought with the high fat, protein etc... That

it would be good for her. I was looking for something to supplement

breast feeding.

Thanks,

Mom to Ellie 10mo wCF and Jack 3yo noCF

poo (Fawn colour)

-----

Hi everyone

Anyone experienced babies with very pale fawn coloured poos? Liam is

one and is having molar teeth come through, he has had this poo for the

last 3 weeks. They are often like this and mushy, no oil but just pale

and big

Also he only is eating yogart, purree apple and goats milk and breast

milk? Any advice. He is already taking 11,000 lipase per meal. He is

22 pounds about 10.3 kg.

Thanks

I have never heard of this, cow milk can certinally be a problem in the case

of digestion, goats milk is easier to digest with smaller protiens etc. It

is best to have it raw and not pasturised.

I am doing the same with Liam, he breast feeds once in the morning now and I

express 2 other times in the day and fill the rest of bottle up with goats

milk. I have been advised that this is fine.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to ask for more detailed information at

our next visit.

hi, my son too has the ghost poo's. (ha!) the liver duct that carries the

bile can get " clogged " at times with the sticky mucus. instead of daino the doc.

put him on actigal. it helps the liver out and is also good at aiding the

gall bladder.
