It's seems to me that these pictures are a good comparison and debunking of the Mason Loop and esophageal reflux controversy. When gastric juices get to the juncture, the nature of the connection encourage the juices along their intestinal track. For gastritis, they would have to travel vertically, against gravity, the entire length of the new stomach pouch to cause trouble. When I compare this to the Mason loop, gastric juices had to travel a short horizontal distance to get to the esophagus. Good job! 16 days and counting...
