Guest guest
There is bifidus in the Straus Family Creamery yogurt that I have been using as starter. Not much, as it is the last item on the ingredients list: " Pasteurized organic whole milk and living yogurt cultures: L.acidophilus, L.bulgaricus, S.thermophilus, and bifidus. " This is the only yogurt I have found locally that does not contain pectin, tapioca starch, or worse. Is bifidus worse than pectin? Is it so bad that no yogurt is better than yogurt with bifidus in it? Does anyone have the name and source-store name of an okay yogurt in southern California? Guest guest
Lorilyn, Is there some reason why you can't use the dry, powdered yogurt starter? I've always used Yogourmet starter.... which I order from Lucy's Kitchen Shop.
