Good Afternoon everyone!!!

I keep reading the comments on staying on low fat diets to help

the pancreas. All the Mds I have ever seen for my duct blockings

have NEVER indicated any diet restrictions. They all say eat as you

can tolerate. For me it seems that the worse foods for pain when I

am hurting is raw vegetables, hard fruits like apples, basically

anything crunchy. Also steak and chicken cause pain too. I do best

with yes, hamburgers, fish, pasta, dairy, bacon/egg/cheese bisquit

from Mcs, etc... This so confuses me after what I read on this

site. Does anyone else experience this??? It seems that the foods

that can just slide through without much stomach processing are the

best. Maybe it has something to do with the gastroparesis. I sure

want to do what is best for my system but I am confused now.

I am now at the 3 week point with the double stents in. Still

completely pain free and eating everything. Am almost off the pain

meds. Had to gradually reduce to make the withdrawls better. Am now

only taking 1 every 12 hours. Go to 1/2 tommorrow and will be done

on Sunday. Wish I could just leave these stents in they are working

so well, but I know they will clog up. Would be nice to make the 8

week mark without pain.

I hope everyone is having a better day. Thanks for any

replies to my question

Love,

W
