Guest guest
I have needed glasses since I was 6 years old. Not that I wore them. I have astigmatism really bad. I also know that phenergen causes my vision to blur. I've often wondered if CP affects vision in some indirect way. I don't know. The bummer is that the older I get, the worse my vision gets. Guest guest
I find your post very interesting! I lost peripheal vision in my right eye after having a bad acute attack of pancreatitis. I noticed it in the hospital, but didn't say anything, because I usually wear contacts (but had on my glasses) and anti-nausea and the IV painkillers always make it hard for my eyes to focus. Anyway, I ended up at a retina specialist who said I had a small stroke. I had to go for an MRI...and the neurologist is scratching his head along with my other doctors. Yes, I had a small stroke, but they can't figure out why or what caused it. I say it was all the retching I had done with that acute attack. I am sorry you have vision problems. Yet another symptom of this chronic condition? I bet it is related. Suzi > I was wondering of any of you have had, or have, vision problems. My distance vision was greatly improved to the point where I did not need glasses to drive or watch TV as I normally do. My near vision was also drastically reduced at this time, requiring me to need cheaters (readers) at the computer and while cooking, cutting, etc. Mine was caused by the onset of diabetes and from having blood sugars over 500 for several months. I don't mean to alarm you, but you did ask........ Have you had your blood glucose checked lately? With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep.
