Guest guest
Hey sug, I am so sorry that things have gone so sour. Did the ercp doc take a measurement of your ductal pressure, the manometry? Did you ask about the EUS? Actually, it is very good news that you dont have pancreatitis. Its an awful condition. I was diagnosed just less then a year ago and my condition has declined rapidly. In six months my cp was only in the head of my panc. Now there are ductal changes through out. Trust me, you dont want that. However, I agree with Jim that you should find another pain doc or check into getting that EUS. I think you should keep that appt. I know how hard it is to hear nothing can be done. I have been hearing that too much this week. Its heartbreaking. I know you dont want to be sick. You just want an appropriate diagnosis and treatment. If that means finding another physician; then find one. Your a strong woman, Tammy, and I admire that greatly. When your gi was sitting around with his thumb up hit butt, you jumped into action. Well jump again and keep jumping until they get it right. Maybe you should come down to ton and see sombody at MUSC. Its not that far. What I am trying to say is dont give up. Ok the ercp came back and it looked good. That wonderful news that you dont have cp, now its time to find out what you do have. We all have gone the run around with docs who cant see beyond the end of their nose. I dont think there is anything wrong with crying, it always makes me feel better. Then I was my face, blow my nose and try to plan my next move. Please keep in touch and if you want me to pull any strings at MUSC just let me know. Warmly, Chrissy
