Our pediatric dentist told me that brushing with plain water ... or a dry

toothbrush... is just fine. Toothpaste is not necessary, it's the brushing

that's important. Our daughter would swallow, or choke on, any toothpaste we

could possibly find or invent, so we haven't used any at all for her entire ten

years. And she's never had a cavity.

Maybe your daughter would be okay with no toothpaste?... especially if you

bought her a cute, new character toothbrush?? Or one of the fun, inexpensive

motorized toothbrushes?

Of course, thank you Michele, Anya is 3.5 y.o. I wonder if I can make it

taste better

Thanks Patty so much for always giving me good advice. Thanks again, I'll

try to give her no toothpaste because she seems to like it so much that she

swallows a lot every day. I didn't seem to mind too much because she is

still taking Mercaptopurine, Prednisone and Iron but she is tapering

Prednisone and we are thinking of bringing her back to the basic diet.
