Guest guest
Deanna, Taking cough > medicine for pain. let me know if it helps you. I think the medicine is helping just a little, but I can only take it Twice a day with Plenty of water, so when I do take it with my pain meds, I can feel a difference. It does seem to make the pain med stronger and I do get more relief when I take the new medicine along with my pain meds. The other times when I just take my pain meds along. I really can feel that they are as strong and I don't get as much relief from them. I have the Generic version of the medicine and it called Guaifenex DM Tablet SA ETH, the common name for it is GUAIFFENESIN with DEXTROMETHORPHAN, Common Brands of it is Benylin, Cheracol D, Naldecon DX, Robitiussin-DX.. It says that is can make you drowsy and Alcohol may intensity effects, use care using machine. You had take with Plenty of Water, Don't Chew-Swallow Whole and can also cause Dizziness. So far the thing I have found with the medicine is that it has made me Drowsy, which is good in my case, because I can get some need rest. With the pain being so bad, it keeps waking me up at night, but now I can at least go right back to sleep. So overall I do feel like the new medicine is helping. Today my pain is a good 7 and still can't eat anything, but by the weekend I'll think I feel much better. I really haven't done anything around the house today, having been taking it easy and resting as much as possible. My oldest daughter Elissa, knows me to well, she said to me today she knows why I didn't want put in the Hospital yesterday, was that this coming Sunday the 28th. is her sister Birthday( She the one that is married) and I wanted to be at her birthday party. She is so right, the smarty pants. She said if I don't go in soon that I'll end up in the hospital for her birthday which is April 8th. I told her I be here for her birthday, too. She said she didn't care if I were in the hospital for her birthday, all she wants is for me to feel better, and after all she knows where the hospital is, so if needed be, she can come there to get her present. Some days when they talk like that I think they are still teenagers. But my husband is so much family orientated. He get so excite at Christmastime that we have a count down from September on- How many days until Christmas. When it's turn for his birthday, He always teases the girls with, he get a Birthday Week, cause he the Dad. After all, it was Ed who had a birthday last week on the 16th, not me, so he's now older than me once again. He just turn the Speed Limit- the big 55. I the odd ball in this family as I have a December birthday and Ed and the 2 girls are all with in 23 of each other. When the girls were young , I would decorate the dining room for Ed birthday and leave up the decorations until Elissa birthday. And many of years we also, had Easter in their too. So this is always a busy time for our family. So I have to start to feel better. I hope I feel like eating because Ed's planning to take me out for dinner tomorrow night, before a Hockey Game and Saturday is our Last Home Game of the Season, but our team is in 1st place, so we are going to the play-off this year. This is the 1st time we have make the play off since 98, so we already have our play off tickets. I really hoping I'll be able to make it to tomorrow's night game, as I do enjoy watch it in person. I try to watch it on TV, but it not as exciting as being at the actual game. Well, I getting very tired, so it's time to go back on laid down. I think it has a really good hold on me this time, it going to take longer to get over than it usually does. I can keep on praying that it'll ease up soon. Hope you all are having a nice day. Weather wise, It's feels like spring here finally, it in the 50's and by Sunday we could even hit 70's, So I have to enjoy this nice weather, after such a long and very cold winter.
