Hi! My daughter can't seem to get over anything. She has another URI...on

cipro and now complaining of severe knee (left side) PAIN! Any ideas?

She has been coughing like crazy and bringing up huge amounts!! Now it sounds

a tad dryer...I am concerned. She feels lousy. I don't have much confidence

in this CF Dr. Its scary when you feel smarter than a Dr. I like her! She

is just " out there " .

Help! When do I panic? She is tired, letharic, and cranky. On Z-pak,

Cipro, etc.......In my next life I want to be a MAN.......my husband on another

" binge " .......arhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Rosemary in NY with 3 children (13, 10.6 and 6.6)

with CF. I have a dog named TOBI and have

coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT "

Cipro can cause cartilage damage. My daughter has also complained of joint

pain. I don't give her cipro as much as they advise me to do. I know call me a

rotten Mom but I worry about what it is doing to her bones. Deb A

Have you tried Aspercream and a heating pad, or a little green patch called

Salon-Pas (you can get it at Wal-Mart and some drug stores), that is used for

arthritis? I have bad knees and these are what I use when they are acting up.

I do have to say that Kim's magnesium has helped them enough that I only have to

do the previous occasionally.
