thanks Mark,

Finally, something in writing that states what I have leftover after

a successful sphincterotomy and numerous stenting. I don't have the

severe pancreatitis anymore, but if I drink cold water, soda, or

anything else cold..or the other way..hot drinks..I get spasms of

pain that only last a minute or so. And it happens every single

time. I guess my GI didn't have an answer the many times I've

brought this up because I always got fobbed off.

I have tried to change my drinking habits, eg..room temperature

water and soda..and it does work. But most days I crave a cold glass

of flavoured milk, so will just put up with the spasms I get when I

drink that..just can't seem to give that one up..

It is great that you figured out though that cold or hot liquids make you

hurt......Many people never figure out anything that really makes them hurt...

I hope this finds you and yours well
