Hi,

I had my gall bladder removed in august 2001. It was about 6 months

after my surgery that I started getting unexplained pain in my left

knee. It was a piercing ache when just sitting or laying down, but I

had no strength in my knee, and the ache would bring tears to my

eyes if I had to walk. I saw a couple of chiropractors and a physio

Therapist my PCP and my GI about it, and the reason for it was that

it was a referred pain. They told me that the sensors that are

usually attached to my gall bladder were left intact and that it was

sending messages to my brain which was kind enough to send pain

waves to my left knee. I had tests done for arthritis or other

problems with my knee, but it was all normal. Chiro treatments

didn't work, or even help with the pain..but after 8 months itjust

disappeared.
