I just make sure the doc knows that she has a cold. It makes since that if you can't breathe normally then you won't do very well with these tests. Not a concern unless they don't go back up to where they were. Tina W., mother of Steph, 18yoa wcf PFTs/FEV1 Hello, My daughter was diagnosed with CF 2 years ago, and her FEV1's have been between 96-103%, except for her September visit, when she had a cold and her FEV1 was only 57%. Have your children had a drop like this in their FEV1s when they do their PFTs with a cold? Thank you!
