I wish it was me Betty. :( :( :( You're such a sweet lady, I'd be honored

to be your littermate, but my time hopefully is down the road aways, but I'll

get there!!!!!!!!!

Hi Cathy Morrow in Lenoir, NC

Yep, I sure wish it was you, too. I have not posted much lately. Sort

of lost heart. But I sure have been lurking, mostly watching for yours and

the others at the Hickory lunch.

Yea, I have a date. Actually I think I am the only one on that day so far.

But, once it is over and done with, that won't matter.

I enjoyed meeting you so much. You are just like your emails sound.

Sincere and concerned. Hope to see you again soon

Love, Betty in Forest City

To Cathy Morrow:

What is holding up your surgery? I am really looking for every possible way

to speed up the process. I get butterflies just reading about others who have

dates for their surgeries. Why is yours going to be a while??

Hi ,

My Insurance (United healthcare of NC) turned me down because of an

exclusion in my policy, so I will have to self pay and it will take me a

while to gather up all the money. I am also trying to stop smoking which I'm

beginning to believe is a lot worse and harder than saving my pennies toward

getting this done, but as they say all good things come with time!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to meet both of you. I hope you are planning on coming

to the Gastonia meeting. Good luck Betty. You must be getting

excited.

I have a definite feeling that my insurance will also turn me down due to an

exclusion.

I am really hoping that my boss will loan me the funds if I can't get ins to

pay.

Does Dr R require total payment before surgery if you are a self pay? or will

he set up some type of payments?

I've not gone that far yet as far as asking his office, but I would

assume that it needs to be paid up front. I know the hospital you have to pay

them $11,ooo.oo before surgery, then they will give you a refund if you over

paid, most people with a 1 day surgery seem to be getting a refund of between

$2,000.00 up to around $3,500.00 according to what their final bill come to.
