Guest guest
How old is your child? If you're having difficulty collecting a urine sample, ask your pediatrician to give you a pediatric urine collection bag. It has an adhesive circle that you can put the bag on with. You can put their diaper, pull up, or underwear right over the collection bag. Then, just check it to see if it's full. The first time we needed a sample, our son was not potty trained. We put the bag on him in the night after he'd gone to sleep. We removed it in the morning. You should ask for a few bags in case you have a mishap the first time. The nurse can show you exactly how to bag him properly if you want to make sure you know how to do it.
