Guest guest
the following tests were done today by my pediatrician, ordered by the DAN doctor. the pediatrician used 579.9 (unspecified) malabsorption so the insurance co may ask for more specifics. the pediatrician told me he wouldn't use yeast overgrowth since all people have yeast in their bodies but that is crazy because my son is responding so well to diflucon and he has only been on it 2 wks. we made 2 dietary changes so far. eliminated dairy as of 1 1/2 wks and almost all refined sugar and already my son's stools are more solid and he has more eye contact. 1. CBC with DIFF & platelet count 2. chemistry panel (bmp) including liver enzymes 3. thyroid panel, ferritin panel 4. urinalysis 5. stool for yeast and c & s we are having a hard time getting a urine sample.
