Yes my mail is all messed up, so if I don't answer it probably means I didn't receive it. Effo, Yes is right. I have to take antibiotics too. I have always had to because of my valve problem, but even if I didn't have that problem, my rheumy said he would like me to take antibiotics the day of and the day after just to be safe. Please check with your dr before and see what they want you to do or ask your dentist. Hey, give your dentist a brochure and see what he says. Guest guest Posted July 8, 2002 Report Share Posted July 8, 2002 Thanks for the info on the Dentist. I called them this morning and told them about the RP, so dont know what they are going to do. I told them I also need a Valium to get me in the chair, (I am the worlds worst coward when it comes to pain). They havent got back to me yet but I will suggest that they give me antibiotics, like you said. Hubby coming home early as the sun is shinning, so we are going out on the boat this afternoon. LOL I always asked if they could have the gas waiting in the parking lot for me.LOL I have found a wonderfu dentist now and I have no fear at all. I go to see him on Wed. In fact, since I found him I have kept my appts every 6 months. Of course when I first found him, I was going to him every week to fix all that hadn't been done in years. I'm glad you checked with them on the antibiotics. You will feel much better doing things the way they want you to. Hope you had a great time in your boat and caught lots of fish.
