Guest guest
Congrats on Insurance Approval, I took my picture in an orange tank top and white shorts (so flattering). Now I remember why I'm the one taking all the pictures on vacation - so I don't have to be in them. Once I sent my packet in it took Barbara eight days to relay my approval from Dr. R. I know it seems like things move slow motion - in mud, no less - but good things come to those who wait. Where are you from? Guest guest
Just a question on insurance.... has any gotten approval the 1st time with a policy that specifically lists gastric bypass as an exclusion?? , Indiana
Guest guest
Hi. I know of people who have had firm exclusions and gotten approval on the first attempt. Not sure about MGB patients, but I saw plenty on www.obesityhelp.com listed under " insurance " . It is probably rare, but you never know until you try. There are many more who have turned over denial after appeal. Don't give up, and don't take their word for it when they say that you have an exclusion. The wording can make all the difference in the world. Good luck.
