Guest guest
Way to Go! in Vegas!!! Question: I may have to self pay...how does that work? Installments? All due @ once? Prepay? I may have to do that, but if I have to, I will. Regina in Charlotte

Guest guest
Hey Regina, Well at first I contact HealthReady.Com and PatientFinance.Com which are elective surgery financing companies and I was approved within 24 hours. So were several others. The problems come were the doctors office must first sign up with these companies and they according to the finance companies sales reps. the doctors office has not done that yet. You may want to contact the finance companies and see what progress they have made. You may also want to send an email direct to Dr. R. to let him you are another patient who is interested in having a finance company like the above two finance your surgery. I am sure Dr. R. is busy and his office secretary Barbara may be the one who make these arrangements. Another little road block was that I expected to use my American Express card which has a high limit on it to fund the surgery. I found out that the doctors office and the hospital do not accept AMEX. My AMEX credit line allows me check to charge writing which allows me to write a check using an AMEX check and then the charges appear on my AMEX account. I have the cash but I wanted to be a little more creative with the financing. But I will tell you if I did not have the money I would take on another full time job to pay for it. You would be surprised how short a time it takes to save up if a person really battens down the financial hatches. Guest guest
- Thanks for the info on self-pay...I was out looking for a higher paying job just today, because I, too, intend to get it done. My sister, Beaman, had hers done on 9/6/00, and has lost over 20 lbs already. I agree with you-----it's worth whatever we have to pay to get it done.
