Guest guest
Check out this severity assessment at the Cranial Tech website: http://www.cranialtech.com/medicalinfo/assessment/brachycephaly.pdf Molly Novato, California Nicolas, 2.5, tort & plagio, STARband (CIRS Oakland) 4/24/06-9/12/06, Graduate! , 5.5 , 8.5 what is normal head shape and what is brachy? Hello all- i am wondering if anyone knows of a website or photos to take a look at side profiles of what is normal head shape and what is brachy (did i spell right- plagio across the back). My son 6 months has his crown up higher- not as rounded at the back and his forehead seems to 'protrude " a bit. I went through plagio/tort (did 2 helmets and 1.5 years of biweekly CST) with my other son who still has facial assymetry and i think i was so focused on preventing the assymetry that in the first few weeks every day i evaluated which side to lay him on and then started shifting more to him being on the back (just thinking about the eyes vs. an actual spot on the back of his head being flat- how i did this i can only attribut the the 'trauma' of having dealt with the assymetry issue and not seeing the forest for the trees). Anyways- this is where we are at now and i desperately want not to go back to doing helmets etc. however i don't want to be sittting here feeling i missed the boat for him (too). AMy husband has just said his head is 'different shaped' Any pictures out there to see? thanks all, cheryl ------------------------------------ For more plagio info
