Guest guest
Hi Doc: As is per usual...I have yet another question for you and the group!! I feel exactly the same as your wife does with respect to just getting the surgery over and done with, however, will a doctor agree to doing this surgery just because the patient asks for it? How much damage has to be done first before they will agree or even suggest surgery? Will they do it based on the patient's request and symptoms alone? I've been getting the feeling that they will first exhaust all other means of controlling the pain and symptoms first before doing a surgery of this extensive measure. Does anyone else know the answer to that question? I, too, if a doctor agreed would just go ahead with the surgery knowing that it will in all likelihood be necessary at some point...so why wait and suffer with this? As always, appreciate the response(s). I hope that your wife is having a pain free day today as I hope for everyone here!! love and prayers
Guest guest
Sorry Doc I guess I just misunderstood you...I didn't know at exactly what point your wife was with cp or the point the docs were at in their treatment options. I hope you didn't take offense at my " newbie " questions!! best wishes
