Guest guest
When Abby was sweat tested she was burned so badly by the electrodes that she has scars to this day. I wondered why she screamed like she did the whole time. The lady that performed the test was a babbling idiot - that was obvious - but I had no idea she was burning two holes in Abby's leg. The doctors documented the holes the next day and admitted they'd never seen it happen. We were in such shock about the diagnosis that it took a couple of days to be mad about it. I let the woman know about it when they did the confirmation test - she'd already been informed - I asked her to please be careful not to let it happen again. She never apologized, just babbled a few things trying to blame the equipment - blah blah. Abby still has two very noticible white spots on her thigh. Her doctor said her sweat test was off the charts. Joe
Guest guest
Our Abby also had a sweat test. It did not hurt or leave marks. She was only 3 months old at the time of the test. I'll bet that you wanted to ring that nurse's neck, that burned your baby. Gale > When Abby was sweat tested she was burned so badly by the electrodes > that she has scars to this day. Guest guest
Piper also has a scar on her arm from her test. It is a little white spot, but its there and its from her sweat test. Piper's sweat chloride was also very high when they did her test, wonder what the correlation is?
