I am in the same boat as your wife. I have had extensive surgeries

and procedures to alleviate my pain and allow me to live a

relatively normal life. The only surgical option for me is the

tp/ict. My docs wanted me to have this last spring; I should have

had it then but opted for the Beger, long story. However,I am still

trying to put it off as long as possible. Its complicated, I want

to keep my job.

I have already had two major operations in less then 6 months and

feel my body still has some healing to do. I hae heard of some

excellent success stories from people who have had the celiac block

and am considereing it. I doubt it will buy me the kind of time I

want but it is worth a shot. (all puns intended)

I was evauluated at the University of Cincinnatti (too many " n's?)

and if I do have the procedure that is where I will go. I have
