I think Judy was asking about the Medic-Alert bracelets from

Medic-Alert. On these, you can have any illness, medication allergies,

etc, engraved on the bracelet and the company also keeps a history of

any medication and diagnoses you wish to have an emergency person to

know if you are unable to speak for yourself. The medic-Alert bracelets

also have a phone number and an Id number engraved as well as your

customized request. Medical personnel are required to call that number

if they see you have this type of bracelet (or pendant as they offer

those as well) to get this vital information in addition to what is

already engraved on the bracelet. I've had one since I was first

diagnosed as a diabetic and I would never go anywhere without it. I

never take the bracelet off. I also had my chronic pancreatitis put on

my bracelet.
