Guest guest
Karyn, I think Judy was asking about the Medic-Alert bracelets from Medic-Alert. On these, you can have any illness, medication allergies, etc, engraved on the bracelet and the company also keeps a history of any medication and diagnoses you wish to have an emergency person to know if you are unable to speak for yourself. The medic-Alert bracelets also have a phone number and an Id number engraved as well as your customized request. Medical personnel are required to call that number if they see you have this type of bracelet (or pendant as they offer those as well) to get this vital information in addition to what is already engraved on the bracelet. I've had one since I was first diagnosed as a diabetic and I would never go anywhere without it. I never take the bracelet off. I also had my chronic pancreatitis put on my bracelet.
