Dawn, have you ever been checked for a ruptured disk? When I first

had back pain I had a shooting pain down my rear to my toes. It was a

disk pushing on my siatic nerve. I was on muscle relaxers and

inflammation meds but nothing helped. It felt like someone was

actually biting on the nerve all the time. I still have to shake my

legs at night. I listen to music on my headphones so I dont wake my

husband , just to keep my mind off the pain. Sometimes my husband

will wake up because I get carried away with a song and the whole bed

is shaking.HAHAA I was listening to my oldies the other night and was

really giving my legs a work out. Are you the one with the motorcyles?

Good luck on finding out just what is the cause of your back and leg

pain.Someimes just knowing what it is helps understanding it better.

I remember I went to a Dr. once and he wanted to know about my sex

life. And I asked him what that had to do about my back hurting. I

was so excited when they told me a ruptured disk. Finally I knew it

just wasnt in my head and I wasnt nuts after all the years of hurting

I could finally put a diagnoses on it. Now isnt that awful excited

about having something wrong with ya. hahaha An undiagnosed pain can

cause you more mental stress than anything else, because you know you

hurt and the pain is real but nobody understands. Hey I sympathize

with you and I pray you get help soon. Luv ya,

Dawn I went to Seattle last fall for surgery for a Rotator Cuff that was

detached. On the way there I developed a terrible pain in my left groin,

that travelled down my leg into my foot. It got so bad I couldn't walk and

had to revert to a wheel chair. (You should have seen me in my first elec

one. I drove right into a bra rack and dragged the lot along with me,

yelling for help!). To cut a long story short, they were diagnosing

Sciatica but gave me an MRI just in case. It turned out that I had a cyst

in the spinal colum. It was removed in November and everything is fine

there now.

As you all know, I am new to this RP thingy, and I have a question.

Yesterday my left ear canal started itching and swelling. Not bad, but like

the ear infections I have been getting for years. I was so scared, and

thought that I was about to get another flare, as that is how the last one

started. I put some drops in my ear, and put the heating pad on it for a

while. This morning it was still a little swollen. Do any of you happen to

get these same symptoms, and what am I supposed to do about it? I take two

Alieve morning and night (which is Naproxin) for arthritis like pain, can I

mix anything else with this?

Waiting your replies
