Guest guest
I posted yesterday regarding the nightmare I am going through having to change doctors in mid stream. My triglycerides are at 1800. The new doctor called me back twice and wanted me to take two different meds and get another blood work appointment in, which is tomorrow. I am alarmed about the first one, called " crestor. " I searched periodicals on the web and found an alert, with groups pressuring the FDA to pull it. It stated over 50 people had serious side effects world wide and 2 people died in the US. It mentioned muscle deterioration and liver damage from the drug. The second one is Tricor, which I have not found good information on yet because there are construction firms, real estate firms and financial firms with the same name. Has anyone been prescribed either of these meds? Thanks Bob
