my son woke up this morning limp and lifeless throwing up yellow

stomach stuff. he didn't want to get in his chair but finally did.

he pushed all the food away so after an hour i gave him his juice

bottle with nystatin. he has not had a stool for 3 days.

the 1st day we force fed an ounce of chicken soup, day 2 through 4

my son ate nothing but diluted juices. day 5 we had a breakthrough:

he ate a pureed cooked pear breakfast and lunch. we took him off the

intro and are just trying to give him any legal foods we can think

of that might interest him. avocado/carrot puree, carrot and chicken

broth puree, cheese cookies, jello squares....but he will have

nothing to do with them. there is nothing in the cookbook that

resembles anything he is used to eating. even if we puree the food

like baby food he still won't eat it because he doesn't like the

taste or won't try anything new. we tried squirting food into his

mouth with a syringe but he holds it on his tongue until he has the

opportunity to spit it out.

what should i do now? i am going to the doc again but they won't

help me. they won't even give me a proper diagnosis so i can get my

son speech therapy and nutrition help. they said autistic kids have

loose stools, that is just the way it is. the doc told us not to get

our hopes up with this new diet and DAN doctor. ABA therapy is the

only proven help. my son is slipping away......
