Thank you very much. So what is a C pap? Gosh, I wear one and you'd think I'd know all about it. LOL It is a machine that has a mask you wear while sleeping (some have to wear when awake) that forces air down into your lungs. This keeps your airway open. My husband wears one too for sleep apnea. You need to have a sleep study first. They will tell you if you stop breathing at night, if your oxygen level drops and what stage of sleep you get into. I'm sure they can tell alot more, but that was all I was interested in. Then they will have you come back (or they did me) for another study with a C pap. They will adjust the amount of pressure until it is right for you. If there is any damage in the airways from RP alot of times the will have you wear one to keep the airways open. I'm sure someone else will explain this alot better and alot shorter. LOL Sorry. Give a hug for me. hugs
