Have you seen any fall-out, gut wise or otherwise? Poop changes? Behavior

stuff? Some parents feel they see progress if they go do a day of intro after an

infraction, but it's up to you. You may just want to get back on the wagon and

move on. How do you think he tolerated the raw apple?

sick kid / illegal foods / ho ho ho

Hello friends -

Luke picked up a nasty, nasty bug last week. Anyways, in order to get him to

try to eat something, we offered him some raw apple, his absolute favorite and

most commonly consumed food pre-SCD. Anyways, we'd been SCD for 2+ months

before hand and had been pretty good at keeping him from getting illegal food.

Luke has also had a good number of doses of illegal ibuprofen containing syrup.

[had to].

Anyways, I wanted very much to keep raw fruits away from Luke for another

month or two before introducing them but it just didn't work out. I'm wondering

if I'm resetting the clock so to speak on starving out the bacteria; i.e.,

should I now consider waiting another three full months before giving him more

raw apples?

BTW - since starting to get better, Luke has turned his nose up at nearly all

foods except apples. Nice.

Thanks!

brian
