Natalia,

Hi, I am , mother of 3 kids, my oldest a is 10 has CF.

Question, Can you use Fosamax for the Osteoporosis? It is inhaled,

sprayed on the nose. My mother did it, religiously a few years ago

with excelent result. There is a catch you do have to exercice each

time after it has been applied. Just my 2 cts. worth.

thanks ! I have never taken Fosamax before, I'll ask about it in

clinic next week. It sounds interesting.

I'm up way too early...my arm has swollen like a balloon from the IV

just overnight, and it kills!! The nurse is taking it out and

switching it this morning. Thank god.

Natalia,

Hope you get better soon. Are you doing any alternative therapy.

GSH+, Inositol, Crataegus? Are you taking your magnesium and zinc?

Also, send again the link to your shop, I really liked one of your

purses but I was at the office and could not get it.

Hi ,

I am on magnesium and zinc. Plus the Tobra and Ceftazidime right now,

plus Oxeze and Pulmacourt, ADEK's, Glyburide (Diabetes), Rhaditidine,

some nasal sprays too. Plus a steroid for the month of the IV

treatment. In my masks I do Colymycin. I'm sure there's more I just

can't remember them all. And PEP Mask 2 times a day for 45 minutes. I

know I'm a regular pharmacy/Clinic over here. Sorry i butchered all

those names. what's GSH+?? The oral antibiotics I don't respond to

anymore. Cypro has been the big loss since it used to work like magic

for infections.

And here's my sight:

http://www.stores.ebay.ca/janespeedinpink

There will be more stuff on soon for the holidays. Since I'm starting

to feel alive again I will have more time to put some things up.

thanks for the interest!!

Natalia,

Please don't get scared off. You are a GREAT contibution to this

list. We don't have that many people with cf on this list that are

old enough to write. We are mostly parents, grand parents, aunts,

etc. You are a treasured addition.

Thanks Shirley, Let me know how you do. I've been on Fosamax for

several years with good results. In fact I've gained some bone. The

doctors don't seem to think it'll be a problem, but I will show this

to my OS and endocrinologist and see what they think.

I'll be having upper and lower too in about a year...
