Guest guest
Hello - My 5.5 month old son got the imaging done for a DOC band today, and I'm concerned that his torticollis will not be sufficiently improved before putting the band on him in two weeks. Our PT suggested that the additional weight of the band can sometimes worsen the torticollis tilt. He's been in PT for 2.5 months, but I suspect that he is not getting stretched as much as he should during the days when my husband and I are at work. Can anyone speak to the PT's concern about the weight of the band? I held one at the consultation appointment and it seemed very light to me, but I'd love to know more from folks who've gone through it. Also, has anyone gone the Botox route for torticollis? I'm having a hard time finding any detailed information on it - when it's used, success rates, complications, etc. Any stories or resources would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance for the help - I'm getting really anxious about the band after his appointment this morning. -
