Guest guest
Have you tried magnesium sulphate (epsom salts), taken orally? This might not be the most pleasant solution, but would be legal.... and probably effective. I probably wouldn't recommend it for a child. It should work within just a few hours. Really, you should not let yourself go this long.... and if you continue to have vomiting and pain, I really think you should be seen by a doctor. Patti very bad C I hate even having to write and ask this..its kind of gross. But I have not *actually* had a bm in like 4 days now. I have a teeny bit in the morning and thats it. I bought a warm water enema (tried to disguise myself as it was a little embaressing) but I don't think enema's clean out the whole bowel. So that didn't do too much. Tonight I tried to go on a walk..hoping it would get things moving and literally threw up. Very gross I know but I think its because things are so backed up. The indigestion has been pretty painful as well. When I first joined, Patti I think, wrote me a very nice, informative email about C. I forgot to thankyou for it Patti but it was very helpful. This time nothing seems to be working. I feel like I am at my wits end. I am thinking about what to eat and what not to eat every second of the day and I can't figure out what is going on. Should I just not eat at all for awhile? I am afraid to eat anything at the moment..for fear my bloated stomach just might pop I am basically only eating cooked veggies, dripped yogurt and all meats, poultry and fish. And eggs. If anyone has any suggestions at all, I would really really appreciate it. Thankyou and God Bless IBS-C 7.5 yrs, SCD almost 8 months
Guest guest
.... just another note. If you do try the oral mag sulphate, please follow the package directions for using it as a laxative.
