Guest guest
This is a very serious threat. My grandchildren's pediatrician suggested a few things: 1) take your children's temperature several times each day, no matter how neurotic that sounds; 2) observe them for loss of appetite and unusual las situde, tiredness, excessive sleeping or not sleeping; 3) observe them, in terms of how they usually are for feeling hotter or colder than usual; 4) take temperature if this occurs; and 5) if in doubt have them checked, including a chest X-Ray by their own doctor; 6) Given the above, try to get extra rest for all in the family. Makes sense to me!!!! Love, n Rojas Flu Ok people, I am not one to over react or panic, but this whole flu thing has me a bit worried. and I have gotten our shots, my husband and son have not.My 13 year old (nocf) has had this funky cough lately. Does anyone know how these kids are dying from the flu? Does anyone know what the signs and symptoms are? When I read the post about the little girl in the hospital, my heart sank. I am used to worrying about , not Ian, my strong healthy boy! It just goes to show you that even when you have healthy kids, the unthinkable can happen, and that you MUST NOT take anything for granted!! e
