Guest guest
Dear Lorilyn, An anonymous Pecanbread member is offering you an ice cream machine and ten bananas if you can find at least 4 kids whose parents have already posted to the Trying Low Oxalate (TLO) list and claimed that LOD was better than SCD and can meet the following requirements: When they had problems with SCD they followed our Pecanbread protocol for resolving problems: 1. Eliminated all the supplements and tried one at a time to make sure that the supplements are well tolerated 2. Started out with the intro diet and introduce one food at a time to make sure that the food are well tolerated and fed only foods that are tolerated while on SCD. 3. They practiced low nut consumption, not higher than was recommended by Elaine. Watched out for peanut butter, beans and cashews. 4. Waited at least 3 months after GI symptoms are gone before introducing peanut butter, beans and cashews. They will sweeten the deal (with honey :-) Someone is also offering Lorilyn a copy of Grain Free Gourmet with that ice cream machine and ten bananas if she can find at least 4 kids whose parents have already posted to the TLO list, claimed that LOD was better than SCD and can meet the above requirements plus--THEY FED THEIR CHILD GOAT YOGURT while on SCD. The bounty increases. Lorilyn will also receive copies of all the major SCD cookbooks, the ice cream machine, food dehydrator and 20 bananas if those same kids did NOT increase their yogurt consumption after the switch from SCD to LOD nor their probiotic dose and also did not start other treatments such as LDN at the same time that the LOD diet was started. If ten kids have met the criteria make room on the counter ( in addition to the above) for a yogurt machine! PLEASE ASK THOSE WHO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS TO POST ON THE TRYING LOW OXALATE LIST. YOU WILL ALSO GET A FREE COPY OF MY YET TO BE PUBLISHED COOKBOOK FOR EVERY PARENT WHO MEETS THESE REQUIREMENTS. Loving Care, Grammy --------------------------------- Talk is cheap. Use Yahoo!
