Guest guest
Hi - Not all BCBS plans are the same and I am finding that different aspects of the plans are handled inconsistently. I have BCBS Fed plan and they would not pay a dime for the Actigall or the Previced which I had filled today and the pharmacy could only tell me that my Plan will not pay for those particular medicines. I think it depends on which plan you have. I don't have a " paid " insurance card. When I am post op I think I will battle them on this but for now I've got other priorities - like what to pack! > > I have Cigna Insurance and my surgery is scheduled for October > 16th. > > Are the medications that we have to take before surgery and after > > surgery covered by our insurance company or is this something that > we > > have to pay up front ourself? > > > > Thanks > > > > Joyce > > Chapel Hill, N.C.
